About Gombe National Park
Gombe Forest National Park is situated in the westernmost Kigoma district of Tanzania, along the shores of Lake Tanganyika. The park covers an area of 35 sq. km. making it the smallest Tanzania National Park as well as across most of Africa.

The park consists of woodlands, open grasslands, steep valleys, and tropical rainforests. The sheer diversity is astounding for such a small area.
