After lunch, you will have a chance to find wildebeests, buffalos, zebras, elands, grant’s and thomson’s gazelles, old bulls elephants, lions as well as scavengers like spotted hyenas, jackals in the park which gives you a glorious opportunity to spot the endangered & rare black rhinos. After lunch, continue to enjoyable journey towards central serengeti you look to leave behind the Northern parts of Ngorongoro Conservation. Continue to your tented lodge and relax, dinner is just minutes away!

Full Day Game Drive in Central Serengeti

In the morning, enjoy your breakfast as you look to venture a full day game drive to the Big Cats headquarters, Central Serengeti National Park. You will possibly be aware that Serengeti National Park is such a huge park that you cannot get enough of it. It is the reason most of our guests return to Tanzania and go to Serengeti, time after time.

Your dedicated Earthlife Expeditions guide will use his wealth of experience to lead your search for the best sights to different Central Serengeti residents from cheetahs, lions, leopards, hyenas, bat-eared foxes, reedbucks, giraffes, elephants, hippos, rhinos, warthogs and many others. An en route game drive to central Serengeti will lead you to your camp for a sundowner as you look to enjoy your delicious dinner and relax ready to explore the wonder of the world tomorrow.

Game En route to the North Area

After breakfast at the lodge, you will drive to Northern part of Serengeti, crossing the middle of the Serengeti National Park. This area boasts a sizable number of big cats and as you drive en route to the Northern Serengeti, it won’t be uncommon to spot them along the way. You will arrive at your tented camp in the afternoon on time for lunch and continue to the afternoon game drive along the Mara River. A search for wildebeests crossing, the crocodiles infested Mara River will start today and go full swing tomorrow. If you’re not lucky to spot this natural wonder of the world today, all good, there is more than meets the eye in Northern Serengeti since it has a good number of cheetahs, hyenas, lions, leopards, giraffes, Topi elands, hippo and a lot more. Overnight at the Camp.

Following the Migration in the Northern Area

On the 6th day of this iconic Great Migration safari, start a day with a short drive to the Mara River. A journey offers a truly unique landscape of acacia woodlands, open savanna, and a lot of wildlife on the way.

With stops for game viewing and some great shots along the way, there are chances to witness the herds of wildebeests and their close cousins’ zebras even before arriving at the Mara River banks for a much sought-after event of the river crossing.

As you reach the Mara River, the herds are likely to be congregating on the river banks finding the courage to reach the opposite bank of the river. To reach there, they need to battle the mammoth Nile crocodiles who have been waiting for this much-anticipated event the whole year. This is crocodiles’ festival season, so to speak. Everyone to their own capacity makes sure that they get lion’s share as thousands of wildebeests end in crocodiles’ mouths. If the nature of the game permits, you will be able to witness this mouthwatering event as the herds cross the river to the far Northern Serengeti and reach neighboring Masai Mara Nature Reserve in Kenya for much-needed greener pasture After an eventful day, drive back en route to the Camp for dinner and overnight.

Morning Game Drive & Transfer JRO for Departure

After breakfast, you will drive to Kogatende Airstrip and later you will be transferred to the JRO airport for your connecting flight back home.
