Coming to the equipment, you a good quality sleeping bags, tents and sleeping mats. And to protect yourself from extreme cold, you can wear clothes in multiple layers. Make sure your inner clothes are made from synthetic wicking materials.

Depending on the route you choose, Mount Kilimanjaro takes 5 to 8 days. Mount Kilimanjaro has seven different routes. While all routes serve the same purpose, each one is distinctly different from another. Some Kilimanjaro Routes are scenic and take more days complete, some are short but steep. The most successful routes on Kilimanjaro are Lemosho, Machame and Northern Circuit. These routes have a higher success rate and offer a great scenic view during your climb.

While Kilimanjaro does not require any climbing, experience, you still need to prepare for the challenges it poses, like Altitude sickness. This why it’s important to climb slowly and take proper rest so that your body can acclimatize to different altitude levels on Kilimanjaro Mountain.

Mount Kilimanjaro experience two different weather patterns, on is dry season which runs from July to October, and the wet season which runs from March to May and November to December. Because of its great visibility and a warmer climate, the peak season is considered the best time for Mount Kilimanjaro Climbing.

Climbing Kilimanjaro take you close to the flora and fauna including giant heather, lobelias and animal species like colobus monkeys and hyraxes.
